My experience in trading prior to joining the Club was very negative, in terms of both mindset and results. I would look for trades/positions that weren’t there driven by greed and fear, invariably losing a lot more than I won.
​​​​​​​Since joining the Club, I have an entirely new mindset and have enjoyed a more positive experience with improved results. Part of the journey for me has been not just about staying out of the market to avoid placing trades that “aren’t there”, but also adopting a “money manager” mindset. I still lose trades, but the majority of these are through basic errors driven by old habits. I know this because of tracking/analysis - another big positive about being in the Club. My success is not about finding more high probability winning positions, it’s about cutting out the low probability / losing ones. Sounds obvious, but it’s the clearest indicator yet to my improving outcomes.
​​​​​​​I love being part of something. It’s a key driver/value for me. I had this “value” reinforced through various program tasks (as a result of being in the Club), and some brief but vital 1:1 time with Judy. To be in a group of like minded people on the same journey is very valuable to me. It also provides the right kind of pressure through scrutiny and accountability. I struggled as a “loner” in trading, so being in the helpful “family” atmosphere of the Club is very important.
​​​​​​​Being in the Club has kept me in the process of learning to trade Forex, and learning to stop gambling the markets. I was close to quitting or taking a break, and a new door opened (into the Club) to give me renewed faith in my vision.
​​​​​​​I would recommend it, and my own reasons for that recommendation are clear. All of us are different and we will have our own reasons, but if you are looking for improved, consistent and easily analysed results (regardless of your starting point), then I’m sure that joining the Club and adopting the basic trading strategies employed therein can only support your goals.
